What it does

Five friends crack a Prismatic Evolutions ETB and someone hits Umbreon ex SIR. Now half the room is screaming, half is texting photos, and nobody actually knows what the room is worth. This Pokemon card opening party tracker is the spreadsheet-nerd friend who runs the scoreboard so the rest of the room can rip packs. Feed it a chaotic message — attendees, set being opened, who pulled what — and it builds a live dashboard, a CSV log, and a Discord recap. Re-run it after every pack and it appends the new pulls and rebuilds the totals. It knows the modern Pokemon TCG rarity hierarchy cold (Common → Reverse Holo → Holo → Double Rare → Ultra → IR → SIR/SAR → Hyper Rare) and ships with TCGplayer near-mint value buckets for the chase cards in 151, Paldean Fates, Prismatic Evolutions, Surging Sparks, Obsidian Flames, Twilight Masquerade, Evolving Skies, and the rest of the S&V and SWSH blocks. It also handles vintage opening parties — Base Set, Jungle, Fossil, Team Rocket, Neo Genesis — with variant flags (1st Edition, Shadowless, Unlimited) and the condition disclaimer that vintage prices deserve. Four reference files are bundled inside: the full rarity hierarchy and slang guide, the valuation buckets with chase-card price anchors, the set database with total card counts for completion %, and a vintage quick-values sheet. It will not give you graded PSA values or investment advice — that's a different skill. This one is built for the party.

Frequently asked

How do I track Pokemon pulls live during a booster box opening party?
Paste a quick line per puller ("Marcus: Charizard ex SIR + Pikachu reverse, Sarah: Snorlax IR") and the skill builds an HTML scoreboard, a CSV pull log, and a Discord recap. After the next pack, paste the new pulls and it rebuilds totals — no spreadsheet setup required.
Does it know modern sets like Prismatic Evolutions and Surging Sparks?
Yes — Scarlet & Violet block from sv1 through Journey Together, plus all the Sword & Shield staples. Set sizes are baked in for set-completion math (Prismatic = 180, Surging Sparks = 252, 151 = 207) and chase-card prices are tracked individually for the headliners (Umbreon ex SIR, Charizard ex SIR 151, Pikachu ex SIR Surging Sparks, Umbreon VMAX Alt from Evolving Skies).
Can I use it for vintage Base Set or Jungle openings?
Yes, with a flag. Vintage prices swing hard on condition and on variant (1st Edition Shadowless > Shadowless > Unlimited), so the skill asks for the variant and labels every value as an estimate. The bundled vintage quick-values reference covers Base Set, Jungle, Fossil, Team Rocket, and Neo Genesis.
Does it give me PSA population data or sealed-product investment advice?
No — that's deliberately out of scope. This skill is built to make opening parties more fun, not to give appraisal-grade valuations or investing guidance. For PSA pop reports, use PSA's site directly. For sealed market trends, look at PokeData.
Can't I just keep score in a Google Sheet myself?
You can, and a lot of groups do. But by pack 4 nobody's typing anymore — they're ripping. The skill also outputs the Sheets formulas (SUMIF for per-puller totals, COUNTIF for rarity-tier counts) so you can paste them straight into your group sheet if you prefer that flow.
